There are many ways to partner with us to make our Animal Care & Control Department the best that it can be. We partner with numerous rescue organizations to help find homes for adoptable pets. We work with the student organizations, such as B.A.R.K., an association of students in our Anderson County school system. We partner with B.A.R.K. in volunteering, fundraising efforts, and education. Students and educators at Clinton High School even created our logo! We partner with individuals in the community who have volunteered their time to help us fine tune policies, generate problem solving ideas, create brochures and literature, and more. And we partner with PetSmart Charities, Inc. and their Oak Ridge adoption center at 203 E Main Street to connect kittens and cats from our Animal Shelter with loving homes.
We also have many financial partners, who help us with resources needed to keep our needs met and also financial partners who are contributing towards future capital improvements. If you would like to partner with us financially, click here.
ACACC makes every effort to place adoptable pets in homes, or help transfer them to partner rescue organizations. We are thankful for the support we receive from local, regional and even out of state rescues pulling our animals, and we are always looking to cultivate additional partnerships to find homes for adoptable pets. We are also extremely thankful for partners who support our animal welfare efforts.
