Dog parks are designated areas where dogs can run off-leash. Currently, Anderson County does not have a dog park in the unincorporated areas of Anderson County. The City of Oak Ridge has a dog park located on the West end of Oak Ridge: Big Turtle Dog Park. The City of Clinton has established a dog park off Cardin Farm Drive in South Clinton. And a new dog park has been established called the Bark Park located at Aspire Park, 777 Aspire Drive in Clinton.

    Business Hours

    You may contact the Anderson County Animal Shelter at (865) 264-6315 to schedule Return-To-Owner or Animal-Receiving. The Animal Shelter is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday (closed Wednesdays) and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday. The facility is also closed each weekday from 12 to 1 p.m. for lunch.
